We've moved Milford Oyster House down the block and around the corner to 92 Route 519 (Water Street) Milford. With some carpeting, new tables and chairs, and an expanded kitchen, we have converted the 19th-century stone mill that had housed O'Toole's Brookside Inn into our new home.

The larger dining room allows us to take reservations and credit cards. The new kitchen allows us to expand the menu — keeping our focus on pristinely fresh seafood but adding a greater variety of meat specials and a special tavern menu. And the liquor license allows us to stock some well-priced wines; an eclectic variety of beers in bottles and on tap; and a range of single-malts, ports, and dessert wines that complement Ed's cuisine.

But the essential Milford Oyster House remains the same, with Chef Ed making magic in the kitchen and his sister, Amy, lighting the dining room with her smile.
