Nearly Naked Gewürztraminer from Columbia Valley, Washington — Orange blossom & spice aromas are complimented by a refreshingly crisp & juicy mouthful of fruit flavor. It is an excellent foil to red meats & rich dishes. You do need to plan ahead for this wine. It needs to sit at least 45 minutes to really open up. They imported some French yeast and went to work. Their sparking wine has a firm bubble as befits the tradition. The wine tastes of minerality (as a good Chablis does) with white pepper notes. The Grüner Veltliner grape is indigenous to Austria and produces a crisp wine that is easily quaffable & very food-friendly   40.00
